With years of experience across different styles of training - including weight training, HIIT, mobility, and group fitness - I bring a well- rounded approach to every session. I'm a results-based trainer who is genuinely motivated to help clients reach their individual goals, whether that's weight loss, building strength, injury recovery, preparing for a special event, or simply improving overall health and well-being.
As a parent, I understand the importance of balance and making fitness and nutrition fit into a busy lifestyle. Training is my happy place, and I want to help others find that same sense of empowerment and joy in movement. I truly believe in being fit for life — not just for a moment, but for the long run.

I love connecting with people and creating personalised programs tailored to individual goals and lifestyles. Using clear goal setting and structured training plans, I help clients stay motivated, accountable, and on track. I also work closely with clients managing injuries or returning from setbacks, modifying programs to build strength safely, improve mobility, and restore confidence in movement.
I specialise in strength training, HIIT, mobility, group fitness, and supporting beginners as they start their gym journey. Dan — someone l've had the privilege of coaching for the past 2 years - just ran a half marathon and took 17 minutes off his previous time!
He lives with cystic fibrosis. That alone makes every breath during a race more meaningful. But this man shows up — week in, week out - always willing to give it his best.
We started in the gym, lifting weights to build strength and stay on top of his health. Now, he's chasing down running goals with the same commitment and fire. And the best part? He's only getting faster.
Next stop: sub 2-hour half marathon.
And I know he'll get there.

"I'm an older woman who avoided gym but enjoyed sports. I came to Tamara wanting help to manage back pain that was hindering my park run progress. Tamara was excellent in assessing my bodies capabilities and designed a variety of workouts tailored to my needs.

I started online coaching Anita in January 2023. In that time she has lost 10kg and 81cms. I have loved watching her grow stronger in the gym all while finding balance with her lifestyle.
Here's what she has to say,
I was coming up to a big birthday last year and was feeling like I needed a bit of direction at the gym, particularly with weights and calorie intake again so linked in with Katrina for some tips tricks and accountability. Anyone who knows me knows I have a pretty massive social life and work commitments which impacts a lot on my diet and time to work out. Katrina set up a great program for me that included not cutting down too much on food but choosing better options along side weight workouts that are simple and time friendly. In the last 14 months I have managed to loose 10kg and keep it off amongst the socialising and holidays which has been awesome as I have a program that can come back to focus on in between. Thanks Trina! you've been awesome with your check ins, encouragement and friendly approach.
